DR. DAVID ALLEN

After retiring from a 17 year career as a cardiac surgeon, Dr Allen is a premier Cannabinoid researcher and an esteemed member of the International Cannabinoid Research Society (ICRS).

Dr. David Allen started his medical career in 1971, where he worked as a preventative medicine specialist in the United States Army. He received his Medical degree from the University of Texas in 1979. Dr. Allen served as an instructor from 1985-1991 at Michigan State University and Detroit Medical Center. He worked as a cardiovascular surgeon from 1992-2007. In 2008 Dr. Allen began working in the field of endocannabinoid science. He has held numerous presentations and written extensively on topics related to the cardiovascular and endocannabinoid systems.
